Historical Ajinomatrix tools — scientific heritage

These first-generation applications were developed during earlier phases of Ajinomatrix research and development. Some continue to run on their original infrastructure, but they were not necessarily released or promoted as public products. They are indexed here as part of Ajinoverse to document the technological lineage of the platform, support research continuity and preserve its software heritage. RecipeAnalyser anticipated capabilities now found in the Studio's extraction pipeline; the original B2B TasteTuner preceded the development of TasteTunerPublic. These applications are presented as historical research software, not as currently supported products.

Open-source heritage programme. Ajinomatrix is preparing a more systematic FOSS policy for selected legacy applications and research code. Where licensing, dependencies and third-party rights allow, historical tools will progressively be documented, cleaned up and released through the Ajinomatrix GitLab ecosystem associated with Ajinomatrix.org. The objective is not merely archival: we want these older codebases to become inspectable, reproducible and useful again for researchers, developers and the wider open-source community.

Open-source contributors are welcome. We explicitly invite collaboration on software preservation, modernization, interoperability adapters, documentation and scientific reproducibility — particularly from contributors working in food-tech, sensory science, recipe technology, cheminformatics and research software. Ajinoverse is intended to function not only as a software federation, but also as a bridge between industrial R&D, open standards and community-maintained scientific tooling.
